Hotel Description
With a fabulous riverside location the-runnymede-on-thames is easy to reach by road rail or air with our handy location on the banks of the River Thames close to Royal Windsor and near to the M25 and Heathrow. Huge windows for wonderful dramatic views of the Thames open spaces fresh contemporary interiors and furnishings plus fantastic food concepts gorgeous guest rooms many with views of the Thames an award-winning spa a buzzy family-run atmosphere and friendly service. There is so much to enjoy and do at the-runnymede-on-thames and it's also perfect for relaxing or doing nothing at all! Just around the corner you can have a whale of a time at one of the local attractions wind back the clock at Windsor Castle or take a turn around local gardens and lakes. Our restaurants and spa are very popular so to avoid disappointment please make dining reservations or book spa treatments before you arrive. The hotel is an entirely non smoking property. The spa is open from 0630 to 2200 Monday to Friday and 0700 to 2100 Saturday and Sunday. Child access times to the spa are as follows:- Monday to Sunday 0800-1200 and 1500-1900. Please note that once you have checked out of your room regretfully as the health and fitness spa is a members and residents only club the spa facilities will no longer be available to you unless a late departure is agreed in writing by prior arrangement with the reservations team. However you are more than welcome to continue to use all our restaurants and bar facilities. To check availability for extra beds and family rooms please contact Late Rooms. the-runnymede-on-thames will be working on external landscaping and our car parks through to June 2010. From January - May 2010 Charlie Bell's restaurant will be closed for refurbishment. Throughout this time all other public areas the bedrooms and spa remain totally unaffected and the works are phased to ensure minimal impact on our guests. Should you wish to dine with us this must be booked prior to arrival.

Directions to the runnymede-on-thames
By road - Exit at junction 13 of the M25 take the A30 signposted to EghamWindsorBagshot. Then take the A308 to Windsor. The hotel is just off of the next roundabout - take the 2nd exit and the hotel is the first turning on the right hand side of the road.Waterloo Station offers a regular direct line service to Egham Station which is approximately 2 miles from the hotels. Taxis are usually at the taxi rank at the station. If there is not a taxi available please call Gemini Cars on 0044 1784 471111.Heathrow International Airport is approximately 7 miles from the hotel. Please exit the airport and follow the instructions above for arriving to the hotel by road.
